IO Electronics was formed as a limited company in April 2002, following the takeover of a small partnership organisation known as AMJ Electronics. The vision of Andrew Cridland (Managing Director) was to take the humble beginnings of AMJ and create a company able to offer a range of complimentary manufacturing services.

We currently operate from our privately owned facilities of some 12,000 square feet electronic manufacturing and administration space, utilising the latest automated manufacturing equipment on the market. Having an extremely low turnover of staff we invest considerable effort in maintaining a team of people capable of supplying a first class quality service.
People often ask what does IO stand for and the answer is that the term I/O is regularly used in electronics, standing for input/output. The word IO is also a small moon of Jupiter and a Greek maiden, the lover of the Greek god Zeus. However, we believe the real answer to what does IO stand for is "an uncompromising quality of service, ensuring that the customer gets the best value product, delivered on time, every time!"
