Charities supported by IO November 2010
Headed by Mark Jacques, Internal Account Manager, we asked our entire workforce to nominate charities that we wished to support. It was decided that Cancer Research & Julia's House were closest to peoples' hearts. Mark Jacques has started the ball rolling by absailing down the 150 ft water tower at the Tower Park leisure facility in Poole, Dorset. With a terrific amount of support from fellow colleagues and friends and family, he managed to raise £416.50 for Julia's house! There is now talk of members of staff supporting both charities in the way of endurance events and other daring feats such as sky diving, hand gliding and pot holing - watch this space throughout 2011!
